Emergency outpatient service in Bratislava Self-Governing Region

The emergency outpatient service (formerly LSPP, popularly known as “emergency” or “medical emergency”) is the emergency service provided by general practitioners or dentists (for dental or oral medical emergency). You can use it if your condition deteriorates sharply and your own general practitioner is not available, from 04:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on working days and from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on non-working days.

If you have a mobile phone equipped with GPS, or your browser can determine your location, and you want to find out where the nearest emergency outpatient service is, you can use the Otvorená lekáreň (Open Pharmacy) application. The application will also help you find the nearest hospital in the event that you suffer an injury or need urgent medical care (for serious injury, bone fracture, heart attack, etc.).

More about the application

The application will find the nearest pharmacies, emergency outpatient services or hospitals based on your current location or the address that you enter.

Where is my medical record?

IMPORTANT!

You have the right to receive health care WITHOUT medical documentation.

The provider who provides healthcare to the patient is responsible for providing medical records. When the provider terminates or suspends its activities, it is obliged to submit the medical documentation for safekeeping to the self-governing region.

The Bratislava Self-Governing Region currently holds medical records from more than 100 providers.

Approach:

  2. the new attending physician will ask the self-governing region to send medical documentation

The application shall state the name of the previous doctor, the unique identification of the patient and the contact address to which we should send the documentation.

The application can be sent by mail to:

Office of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region
Department of Health
